Personally, I’m a Loaf lover and think this is a top tune worthy of a moments dedicated air guitaring when it comes on. As well as having a dodgy taste in music, I have an ambition to make the very most of every hour of every day. As we get older we get weaker, physically and mentally. The physical decline will stop us being able to enter the events or compete at the levels we yearn for and while the mental decline might be more subtle it will see us begin to look forward to pulling on the slippers more than the training shoes. That adventure you have always talked about doing ‘one day’ needs doing now, tomorrow may be too late. One day you will wake up and you will be old. Be an old person recounting adventures; win or lose, succeed or fail, they will furnish memories that will delight and inspire. Don’t become an old person recounting the things they wished they’d done. ‘You’ll never be as young as you are right now’, so now is the time to go for it and Never Follow.
