“Audacity, Audacity, Always Audacity” – Kaiser Wilhelm II

“Audacity, Audacity, Always Audacity” – Kaiser Wilhelm II

May 09, 2021

Audacity - a willingness to take bold risks. The quote is from Frederick the Great, King of Prussia, famous for his military victories and like so many other military quotes, mottos and mantras, imparts that success can only be won by having the courage to break cover and go forth. Although, in audaciously undertaking any challenge one exposes themselves to risk, in Fredrick's case the loss of a Kingdom and possibly death, for the rest of us defeat and demoralisation. Win or lose, success of failure, victory or defeat; you will emerge a better person for having tried. Fulfilled lives are built upon the undertakings and not the results. Never Follow and enter that race, sign up for that event or begin that journey; accomplishment awaits.
